SpeakUp Tracker has been designed to measure the people and financial impact attributed to developing speak-up cultures through the framework, language and skills of Crucial Conversations training. It is evidence-based and globally proven to impact the behaviours, safety and performance of people and workplaces through speaking-up.
You can, however, deploy the Communication Baseline survey (which is free!) to understand where your organization sits regarding communication and speaking-up. This survey doesn't reference Crucial Conversations training, rather it provides a series of perception- and behavior-based questions and statement to reveal your communication state. From this survey, you may look at Crucial Conversations as a intervention for your organization to address
We developed SpeakUp Tracker as it's typically challenging for OD, LnD and People and Culture Leaders to measure the impact of any training. Trying to measure improvement in communication initiatives like Crucial Conversations is typically done with a post-course survey, which isn't capturing the behavioural impact this training has on an organization's safety, productivity, well-being and performance over time.
Layering the financial impact of Crucial Conversations was the next step to a more rounded picture of why investing in initiatives addressing communication and speaking-up in organizations are so crucial to performance.
